In this petition, the petitioner has challenged the validity of the communication dated 22nd February 2024 issued by the Sub-Regional Office, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, Sangli by which electricity and water supply to the poultry farm of the petitioner have been Ingale

905-ia-3561-25.odt disconnected on the ground that the poultry farm is causing environmental pollution in the surrounding areas. The aforesaid order has been passed on the basis of a complaint made by the proposed intervener. Interim Application No. 3561 of 2025 is the application seeking intervention by the person who is the complainant. 2.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and for the reasons assigned in the Interim Application No. 3561 of 2025 which is duly supported by an affidavit, in our opinion, the complainant is a proper party to the writ petition and needs to be heard. 3.

Accordingly, Interim Application No. 3561 of 2025 is allowed.
