This interim application has been filed for amendment of the writ petition in terms of the Schedule annexed to the application.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 has tendered reply affidavit to the interim application and opposed the application for amendment by contending that the leave sought by way of amendment is time barred.

However, for the reasons mentioned in the application and as the amendment sought is at pre-admission stage, we are inclined to allow the application.

Leave to amend the petition, in terms of the Schedule annexed to the application, is granted. Let the necessary amendments be incorporated by the learned counsel for the petitioner within a period of two weeks. Reverification is dispensed with.

It is open for the learned counsel for respondent no. 2 to file reply to the amended petition on merits including on the ground of limitation.

The interim application is disposed of.
