Learned Counsel for the Appellant-BEST submits that by this Court's Order dated April 22, 2025, the compensation amount along with accrued interest computed until that date was required to be deposited within four weeks from that date. It is the case of the Appellant that the compensation amount along with the interest was indeed deposited but with a delay of one day. In these circumstances, it is his request that the self-operating vacation of the ad-interim stay ought not to take place because of the delay of one day, and that such delay be condoned.

In these circumstances, considering that the delay in depositing the amount as directed is only of one day, the automatic vacation of the stay is suspended. On the next date, before the regular Bench, the matter shall be considered for appropriate directions thereafter.

Stand over to July 29, 2025.

All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
