The learned counsel appearing for respondent nos.2 and 3, on instructions, submits that on 28th April 2025 the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies has passed an order thereby publishing the Election Programme as regards the elections to be held at the respondent no.4-Cooperative Society. In view of this statement, the purpose of filing the writ petition is served.

An intervention application has been filed by the two applicants seeking leave to intervene in the writ petition. Since the purpose of filing the writ petition has been served, it would be open for the intervenors to take such steps as are permissible in law in case they have any grievance in that regard.
