This Interim Application has been filed seeking an extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, which expired on April 30, 2025. Although it is filed as an Interim Application it is treated as an Application under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act") 2.

Today, when the matter is called out, Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that this would be the second extension, and requests for an extension of mandate by a period of six months, bearing in mind the stage at which the arbitral proceedings are placed. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that for last six months no hearing has been convened and outstanding dues are payable to May 9, 2025 Purti Parab

3-IA-7883-2025.doc the Arbitrator. He submits that such dues would be cleared by May 15, 2025 and the matter be taken up. Having considered the record and submissions on behalf of the Applicant and taking into account the stage at which the arbitral proceedings are placed, this Application is finally disposed of by extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal until November 30, 2025.
