Mr. N.C. Walimbe, learned AGP appearing for the State submits on instructions, obtained in terms of the order dated 6th October, 2025 that sanction has already been granted by the Departmental Authority for payment of a sum of Rs.16,06,295/- (Sixteen lakhs six thousand two hundred and ninety five) to the Writ Petitioner, as provisional pension, with effect from 25th July, 2014 till the month of September, 2025. According to Mr. Walimbe the amount would be deposited in the bank account of the Petitioner within a week. In support of his above arguments, the learned AGP has produced copy of the authorization issued to the PRIYA RAJESH SOPARKAR PRIYA RAJESH SOPARKAR Date: 2025.10.14 18:25:40 +0530 14th October, 2025.

The Petitioner's counsel to obtain instructions within four weeks confirming the receipt of the amount by the Petitioner. 3.

At this stage, Mr. Sharad T. Bhosale, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the actual date of the order of the compulsory retirement issued to the Petitioner was 27th May, 2014, but it has been wrongly reflected in the order dated 6th October, 2025 as "28th May, 2024". Therefore, calls for rectification. Mr. Walimbe, learned AGP has also supported the said submission. 4.

As such, the prayer for rectification is granted. The date of the order of the compulsory retirement issued to the Petitioner, as reflected in the order dated 6th October, 2025, shall read as "27th May, 2014" instead of "28th May, 2024".

Order dated 6th October stands corrected accordingly. 6.
