In the light of the order dated 12/03/2026, the newly added respondent i.e. Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO), has been served.

Mr. Absar Ahmad, officer of the Deputy Collector of Explosives (PESO) is present in the Court and he submits that an advocate from the panel of Union of India would be representing the said respondent. He further informs this Court that the applications submitted by the petitioner before Respondent No.6- Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) are pending at the stage of inspection. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner tendered letter dated 02/04/2026 issued by Deputy Collector of Explosives (PESO) to the petitioner stating that the petitioner's application had been forwarded to the said office for inspection of the storage go-down and endorsement of the license.

The said officer of Deputy Collector of Explosives (PESO) present in Court submits that such an inspection can be conducted within 21 days and that it can also be conducted within a lesser period of time.

Considering the fact that the letter was issued on 02/04/2026, we expect the respondent No. 6-Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) to conduct and complete the exercise of inspection on or before 23rd April 2026.

List this petition on 28th April 2026 on the supplementary board. 7.
