Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The Interim Application has been filed by the Applicants - Original opponents seeking stay to the execution of impugned Judgment and Award dated 7th October, 2023 passed by the Chairman, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sangli in M.A.C.P No.167 of 2016 by which the Applicants were directed to pay an amount of Rs.6,78,400/- alongwith interest @ 7% per annum to the Respondent i.e original claimant from the date of Application, till actual payment of the compensation.

Notice has already been issued. Pursuant to the notice, original claimant has appeared.

Having considered the averments made in the application, there shall be stay to the execution of the impugned judgment and award until the final disposal of the appeal, subject to the applicants depositing an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- before the M.A.C.T., Sangli within a period of four weeks from today.
