This is an Interim Application in pending Writ Petition No.6928/2014. The main Petition is at the preadmission stage. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Applicant submitted that there are subsequent events which are relevant for consideration of all the issues raised and also on the facts of the case. We have perused the schedule of amendment. They contain the subsequent events. The amendment is relevant. The Petition is at the pre-admission stage. Therefore, we are inclined to allow the amendment.

Learned Senior Counsel pressed only prayer clause (a). Therefore, Interim Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Amendment be carried out within a period of ten days from today. Amended copy of the Petition be served on the Respondents. The Respondents are at liberty to file affidavit-in-reply within a period of four weeks after the amendment is carried out. The main Petition be listed on 1.4.2026.
