This Writ Petition has been filed seeking restoration of the Writ Petition (Stamp) No. 18626 of 2024, which was dismissed due to failure on the part of the Writ Petitioner to remove office objections.

It appears that the Writ Petition was dismissed in terms of the instructions issued by the Registry vide order dated 19th September, 2024. We have perused the explanation furnished in the application. It appears that due to a communication gap between the petitioner and his previously engaged Counsel, the office objections could not be removed within the time framed REKHA PRAKASH PATIL REKHA PRAKASH PATIL Date: 2025.09.25 18:48:49 +0530 25th September 2025

31-IA-11755-2025.DOC provided by the Registry as a result of which, the Writ Petition came to be dismissed.

Mr. Kulkarni, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that if the Writ Petition is not restored to its original file than the same would cause grave injustice to his client. It is also the submission of Mr. Kulkarni that office objections will be removed within 17th October, 2025, if permitted by this Court. 4.

Mr. Walimbe, learned AGP appearing for the respondentState has opposed the prayer. However, no reply has been filed by the State.

In view of the statements made in the application and having regard to the overall facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that the applicant has made out a good case for restoration of the Writ Petition. Ordered accordingly. 6.

Consequently, the Writ Petition (Stamp) No. 18626 of 2024 shall be restored to its original file.

The applicant is granted time till 17th October, 2025, to remove the office objections.

8.

The order of the Registry dated 19th September, 2024 stands modified accordingly.

Interim Application stands disposed of.
