CORAM : BHARATI DANGRE & MANJUSHA DESHPANDE, JJ DATED : 12th JUNE, 2026 P.C:- The application seek condonation of delay of 48 days in filing an Appeal against the impugned judgment and order dated 12/3/2025, which dissolved the marriage solemnized between the parties, but rejected the prayer of the applicant for permanent alimony.

On perusal of the application, we are satisfied with its bonafides and though the application faces a strong opposition from the counsel for the respondent on the ground that no specific cause has been set out for condoning the delay, we find that explanation offered in paragraph no.5 of the application to Tilak

2/2 929 IA 12479-25.doc be sufficient to condone the delay, as the said paragraph will have to be read with paragraph no.8 of the application. Interim Application is made absolute.

FCA St No.27052/2025 Learned counsel waives notice for respondent. We permit the learned counsel for the respondent to file his response to the claim for permanent alimony in the Appeal on or before 97/2026.
