The Applicant/Writ Petitioner has filed this Application with a prayer to substitute the legal heirs of deceased Respondent No.16, who died on 1st July, 2025.

It has been projected in the Application that the Applicant came to know about the demise of the Respondent No. 16 only on 4th August, 2025, where-after steps have been taken for filing this Application for substituting Respondent Nos. 16-A to 16-C, in place of the deceased Respondent No.16.

We have noticed from the office note that the Application was filed with a delay of 12 days. However, in view of the explanation furnished by the Applicant, we are inclined to condone the 12 days delay in filing the Application.

Ms. Purav, learned AGP appearing for the State, does not have any opposition to the prayer for substitution. 5.

In view of the above, the Respondent Nos. 16-A to 16-C be substituted in place of the deceased Respondent No.16 and the cause title of the Writ Petition be amended accordingly. 6.

After amendment, notice in Writ Petition be issued to the substituted Respondent Nos. 16-A to 16-C, returnable on 24th December, 2025.
