At the outset, Mr.Mishra, the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Revenue (Applicant) stated that prayer clause (a) of the above Interim Application is incorrect, and what should be considered is the prayer clause as set out in paragraph 3(ai) of the Additional Affidavit DECEMBER 23, 2025 Utkarsh

17.ia.38747.2025.doc dated 23rd December 2025 and which is tendered to the Court today. Hence, the relief sought by the Revenue is as under:- "(ai) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to extend the time, to adjudicate the Show Cause Notice dated 30th September 2016, for further period of six (6) months from the date of disposal of the (i) Writ Tax No.3886 of 2025, (ii) Writ Tax No.3874 of 2025 and (iii) Writ Tax No.3871 of 2025 filed by the three Writ Petitioners herein before the Hon'ble Allahabad High Court and/or vacation of stay granted vide Orders dated 17.10.2025 passed in aforesaid petitions."

The learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Original Petitioner states that the Original Petitioner has no objection if the extension as sought in the above prayer clause is granted. 3.

We accordingly dispose of the Interim Application in terms of prayer clause (ai) reproduced hereinabove. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

It is needless to clarify that all contentions of the parties are expressly kept open to be agitated in appropriate proceedings. 5.
