This is an appeal filed under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 challenging the order of the Special Court, Khamgaon rejecting the application for grant of anticipatory bail.

I have heard learned Counsel for the appellants to some extent. Perused the recitals of the FIR. The cross-complaints are filed against each other. The role attributed to the applicants is to the extent of assault by wooden logs and plastic log.

Considering the specific allegation against both the applicants, at this stage, no case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable after one week.
