Ms. Parita Lakhani, learned Advocate, is appointed to represent the respondent No.2 through legal aid. She seeks time for filing reply. 2.

The appellant is apprehending arrest in Crime No.299/2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Sections 352, 351(2) and 351(4) of the B.N.S. 3.

The allegations are made that the appellant abused the first informant on mobile by insulting on his caste and, therefore, the offence is registered.

The learned Advocate for the appellant has submitted that this is not in public view.

Considering the allegations made against this appellant, he is protected by granting ad interim anticipatory bail. i) It is directed that in the event of arrest of the appellantBalabhau @ Balasaheb Ramdas Atkare, in connection with Crime No.299/2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1) (s), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes

apeal579.2025.odt (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Sections 352, 351(2) and 351(4) of the B.N.S., he be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rupees Twenty Five Thousand with one solvent surety in the like amount.

ii) The appellant shall not in any way tamper with the prosecution evidence.

iii) The appellant shall not pressurize or threaten the prosecution witnesses.

iv) The appellant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the Investigating Officer.

v) The appellant shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer. 6.

This protection shall remain in force till next date of hearing. 7.

Stand over to 23.12.2025.
