30/01/ The learned counsel for the Appellant, on instructions, submits that, during the pendency of this Appeal, the Investigating Officer has filed the charge-sheet before the learned Trial Court. He further submits that, earlier application filed by the Appellant before the learned Trial Court, was before the charge-sheet, and as it was rejected, this Appeal under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (for short, 'SC & ST Act') is filed.

The learned counsel further submits that, since there is substantial change in the circumstances as the charge-sheet is filed, he has instructions from the Appellant to approach before the learned Sessions Court with the appropriate bail application by withdrawing the present Appeal. He submits that, the Appellant is protected vide order dated 19/12/2025 passed by this Court and said protection be continued for a certain period.

The learned APP for the State submits that, the interim protection may not be continued for long. 4.
In view of above submissions, the Appellant is permitted to withdraw the Appeal with liberty to approach before the concerned Court with an appropriate application for bail.

The interim protection dated 19/12/2025 to continue for a further period of four(4) weeks. 6.
Accordingly, the Appeal stands disposed of.
