Mr. Amit A. Palkar, learned APP for the State submits that the offence involved in the present crime is under the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (SCST Act). He therefore, submits that any person aggrieved by order passed in respect of provisions under the SCST Act, an appeal is maintainable in terms of Section 14A of the SCST Act.

In view of the above, this Application is not maintainable and as such dismissed.

The Applicant is at liberty to file appropriate proceedings as available in terms of law.
