Present Criminal Application has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR in Crime No. 304/2023 dated 20.09.2023, registered with Deopur West Police Station, Tq. & District Dhule for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

Learned Advocate appearing for Applicant submits that parties have amicably settled matrimonial dispute. Learned Advocate appearing for Respondent No.2 has filed on record a deed of settlement duly verified and affirmed by Respondent No.2. It states that parties have decided to obtain decree of divorce by mutual consent and reside separately. The deed of settlement is appears to be signed and verified on 21.11.2025. Eventually Applicant and Respondent No.2 have obtained 947 APPLN 125.2025.odt

decree of divorce by mutual consent in Petition No.F/287/2025 before Family Court, Dhule. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that in Criminal Application No. 4163/2023 the FIR to extent of other accused persons in present crime has been quashed and set aside.. 3.

Apparently, parties have amicably settled the dispute, and no purpose would be served by continuation of trial in pursuance to the offence registered on the complaint of Respondent No.2. 4.

In that view of matter, following order is passed.

ORDER

(i) Criminal Application stands allowed.

(ii) First Information Report vide Crime No. 304/2023 dated 20.09.2023 registered withDeopur West Police Station, Dist. Dhule, for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, stands quashed and set aside as against applicant- Somesh Shrawankumar Kuril (S.
