It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the Applicant/Appellant that, the Appellant is reported to be dead. He submits that, on the next date, he will place on record the copy of the Death Certificate and also appropriate Application by the legal representatives of the Deceased to pursue the Appeal, and seeks some time.

This Court invited attention of the learned APP to the orders passed by this Court on 06.10.2025, 13.10.2025 and 17.10.2025. On instructions, he submits that the Application for Return of the Firearm was filed by the Appellant when he was alive. He submits that,
2 916APPLN137.2025.odt since the Appellant is no more, the said Application becomes infructuous and, therefore, the report from the concerned Police Officer be dispensed with.

In view of the submissions of learned APP, for the present, the aforesaid orders issuing necessary directions to the concerned Police Officers are kept in abeyance.

Stand over for four (4) weeks.
