CORAM

: RAJESH S. PATIL, J.

DATED : MARCH 21, 2025 P.C.:

1.

The learned Advocate for the applicant is seeking relaxation of a condition imposed by the Sessions Court while granting pre-arrest bail to the present applicant. The only condition for which relaxation is sought is Condition No. IV, which reads as follows: "iv) Applicant shall attend the concerned police station on every Thursday between 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. for a period of three months or till filing the charge-sheet against him, whichever is earlier."

2.

The learned Advocate for the applicant submits that, up until now, the applicant has visited the concerned police station three times on Thursday. He further submits that it is difficult for the applicant to attend the office of the Amol D. Nawale

928-APPLN-140-2025 (CR) .doc investigating officer on Thursday, as he is a resident of Bangalore.

3.

The learned APP has opposed this request, stating that when the pre-arrest bail was granted by the Sessions Court on 27 February 2025, no such request was made on behalf of the applicant to exclude the condition of attending the concerned police station every Thursday.

4.

I have heard the learned Advocates for both sides and have examined the documents on record. The documents indicate that the applicant is engaged in the travel business. The condition imposed by the Sessions Court was only for a period of three months or until the filing of the charge sheet. Since the order was passed on 27 February 2025, the threemonth period would end on 27 May 2025, and three weeks have already elapsed.

5.

I do not find any reason to modify the condition imposed by the Sessions Court in its order dated 27 February 2025. Hence, the present criminal application stands rejected. (RAJESH S. PATIL, J.) Amol D. Nawale
