This is the Application for fixing the Appeal for final hearing. 2.

The Appeal has been filed by the State. The learned Advocate for the Applicant submits that the Applicant is in Government service and is due to retire in January-2026 and this is the Appeal against acquittal. He submits that, due to the pendency of the Appeal, the entire service benefits of the Applicant would be held up. Considering the request, the Appeal be fixed for final hearing.

The learned AGP submits that, this cannot be the ground to fix the Appeal for final hearing.
