The present application has been filed for quashing the proceedings in R.C.C. No.235 of 2023, pending before learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class at Aurangabad arising out of C.R. No.194 of 2022 registered with Jawahar Nagar Police Station, Aurangabad for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 498-A, 323, 377, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The Applicant and the Respondent No.2 have arrived at the compromise. They have filed the terms of settlement which have been got verified through learned Registrar (Judicial) and he has submitted a report on 8th March 2025, stating that the parties have reiterated the
07-APPLN.847.2025.odt terms before him. The matter arose due to the matrimonial dispute and the husband and wife have decided to happily part. Monetary arrangements have been made by the husband in favour of the wife and the wife is satisfied with the same. Under such circumstances, we take this to be a fit case where we should exercise our powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. 3.
Hence, the application stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (B).
