Instant application is for temporary bail on account of arrest of applicant in Crime No.0213 of 2024 registered at Osmanpura Police Station, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (City) for offence punishable under sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B r/w section 34 of Indian Penal Code and under sections 3 and 4 of the M.P.I.D. Act.

Learned counsel for applicant pointed out that, applicant is arrested in Crime No.0213 of 2024 on 27.11.2024. That, he has preferred regular bail application, however, the same

-2is pending. Learned counsel further pointed out that, applicant's nephew is getting married on 21.04.2025 and to enable him to attend the same in the capacity of maternal uncle, temporary bail is urged for. That, applicant is ready to abide all and any conditions deemed fit by this court.

Learned APP opposed on the ground that huge economic fraud has been committed. That, another main accused is still at large and he also apprehends of misuse of liberty. Learned APP submits that, if at all, this court is inclined to grant of temporary bail, stringent conditions be imposed including condition of payment of escort charges and temporary bail only be for the purpose of marriage.

Heard. Perused the the papers, more particularly, wedding invitation card of nephew of applicant, namely, Sanket Chavan. Statement is made across the bar that applicant is maternal uncle of bridegroom, who is getting married on 21.04.2025.

Invitation card shows that said marriage is at around 6:51 p.m. in the evening. Though learned counsel urged this court for grant of temporary bail for three days, this court is only inclined to grant bail for two days i.e. on 21.04.2025 and he should

-3surrender before Prison Authorities prior to 10:00 a.m. of 22.04.2025 subject to payment of escort charges. Hence, I proceed to pass the following order : -

ORDER

I.

The application of temporary bail is allowed. II.

The Jail Authorities to allow applicant Suhas Pandit Chavan to be taken from prison at 9.00 a.m. on 21.04.2025 and to allow him to have a visit at Nandanwar Lawns, Near Dabhrul Tanda, Beed Road, Beed to attend the marriage ceremony of his nephew, subject to payment of necessary escort charges.

III.

Applicant shall first report the nearest police station about his temporary bail.

IV.

Escort party to take applicant from the place of marriage back to prison and the Jail Authorities to tender report to this court about his lodgment in the prison by 10.00 a.m. of 22.04.2025, within a period of three days from his lodgment.

V.

Applicant shall not travel beyond the place of marriage for any other purpose.
