In this application, on 18th August 2025, this Court had permitted the terms of compromise executed between the applicants and respondent No.2, to be placed on record with a further direction that the parties should remain present before the Registrar (Judicial) for verification.

The Registrar (Judicial) has submitted report, stating that the parties have admitted their signatures on the compromise deed and that they have stated that they have signed the said document voluntarily without any force or fraud being played on 0them. It is also brought to our notice that although only the son of the injured Shrikant Malani
28.APPLN.2606.2025.doc victim i.e. the informant is party respondent No.2 in this application, the compromise deed is verified and confirmed on affidavit by the injured victim also.

The respondent No.2 is represented by counsel, who is supporting the prayer made in the present application. 4.
Nonetheless, we would like to peruse the investigation papers, particularly the medical papers concerning the nature of injuries suffered by the victim in the present case. The learned APP submits that on the next date of listing papers can be kept ready for perusal of this Court.

Hence, list on 22nd September 2025, in the "urgent orders category."
