Heard learned counsel for the Applicants and the learned APP for the respondent-State. This is an application for restoration of Criminal Appeal No.622 of 2024.

The Applicants have approached this Court apprehending arrest in connection with FIR No.98 of 2024, registered with Hatta Police Station, District Hingoli, for the offences punishable under sections 341, 324, 323, 327, 427, 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code and under Section 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and

2 of 3 916-APPLN.3942.2025 Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. 3.

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 11th November 2025.

Mr. G. O. Wattamwar waives service of notice for Respondent No.1-State.

It is pointed out by learned Advocate for the Applicants that on 12th July 2024, ad-interim protection was granted to the Applicants in Criminal Appeal No.622 of 2024.

In view of the matter, since ad-interim protection having been already granted, I am inclined to continue ad-interim protection to the Applicants on the following terms :- A] Till the next date, in the event the Applicants are arrested in connection with FIR No.98 of 2024, registered with Hatta Police Station, District Hingoli , they shall be released on bail on furnishing PR bond of Rs.20,000/- each with one or two sureties in the like amount.

B] The Applicants shall remain present before the investigating officer as and when required by the investigating officer.

3 of 3 916-APPLN.3942.2025 C] The Applicants shall co-operate with the investigation, including producing all documents in his possession, as may be demanded by the investigating officer. D] The Applicants shall not influence the informant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case and they shall not tamper with the evidence.

Needless to say, violation of any of the aforesaid conditions may result in this order being cancelled.

List on 11th November 2025. Ad-interim protection granted today to continue till the next date only.
