Present Petition has been filed for direction to respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's parole leave application, which is pending since 14th May 2025.

Learned APP, after taking instructions and placing on record the written instructions received to him by the

cwp-796.25 Superintendent, Central Prison, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, submits that they are awaiting the police inquiry report. 4.

As per the new rules of parole which have come up on 2nd December 2024, the application for parole has to be decided by the granting authority within a period of one month. Under such circumstance, there has to be a decision by respondent No.2 before 14th June 2025 and therefore we dispose of the Writ Petition by issuing directions to respondent No.2 to decide the said parole leave application on or before 14th June 2025.
