By way of this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking the following reliefs as per Prayer Clause B:

"B.

Issue writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in the nature of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent no.1 State Government to take decision on the report / proposal dated 14.12.2018, 02.11.2023, 20.02.2024, 30.10.2024 & 11.12.2024 submitted by the respondent Police Authorities for seeking permission U/s. 17(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and for that purpose issue necessary orders."

Learned APP submits that all pending reports/proposals dated 14.12.2018, 02.11.2023, 20.02.2024, 30.10.2024, and 11.12.2024 shall be decided within four weeks. 4.

In view of above, we dispose of this petition by directing Respondent No.1 to decide all the aforementioned proposals within a period of four weeks from today.
