The present appeal is filed under Section 374(2) of the Cr.P.C., challenging the Judgment and Order of conviction and sentence passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge(FTC 2) at Panaji in Special Criminal Case(NDPS) No. 23/2014.

2. Today, when the matter was listed for final hearing, Ld Public Prosecutor, on instructions received from the Jailor, Central Jail, Colvale, submitted before this Court that the Appellant had expired on 29.9.2025 at the T.B. Hospital, Panaji.

3. Learned Counsel for the Appellant also confirms the said fact of the Appellant's demise.

4. In view of the death of the Appellant, the cause of action in the present Criminal Appeal does not survive; a Criminal appeal against 1st December, 2025

CRIA 13 of 2025 conviction abates upon the death of the appellant. Accordingly, the appeal stands dismissed as abated.

5. Bail bonds stand cancelled.
