Having considered the nature of the dispute, in my view, this case deserves to be referred to Mediation to resolve the dispute between the parties. Hence, at the request of the learned advocates for both parties, the matter is referred to the Mediation Centre to explore the possibility of settling the dispute. 2.

The parties have suggested appointing Smt Sabahat Kazi, a learned advocate, as a Mediator by consent. As such, the Coordinator of the Subcommittee is requested to appoint Smt Sabahat Kazi as a Mediator to resolve the dispute between the parties.

The parties are directed to appear before the Mediator at the Mediation Centre as per her convenience.

The applicant is directed to deposit 50% of the arrears of maintenance amount in this court on or before 05-11-2025 and further remaining 50% amount within four weeks thereafter, failing which, necessary order will be passed.

The learned advocate for the respondent undertakes that the respondent will not proceed in the execution proceeding till the next date.

List the matter on 06-11-2025.
