Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned APP for the Respondent No.1. Issue notice to respondents returnable on 17.04.2025. Learned APP waives service of notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2.

This appeal is directed against order dated 24.02.2025 rejecting application of the appellant for pre-arrest bail. I have gone through the first information report which is silent for the caste status of the appellant. The reliance is placed on the judgments of this Court in the matters of Dada Anil Navnath Murkute vs. The State of Maharashtra and another in Criminal Appeal No. 351 of 2020, Jairam Shankarrao Tale and another vs. The State of Maharashtra and another in Criminal Appeal No. 190 of 2019 and Punjabrao Vasudeo Kokate and others vs.State of Maharashtra and another with connected matters.

The allegations against the appellant are not serious in nature. Their appears to be previous enmity between the appellant and the informant. Considering the nature of the allegations, I find it fit to grant interim protection to the appellant.

In the event of arrest of the appellant in furtherance of Crime No.0060 of 2025 registered with Shrigonda Police Station,Tq.Shrigonda,Dist.Ahilyanagar, he shall be released on bail on furnishing PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety and in following conditions :
a) The appellant shall not enter Nimgaon Khalu,Tq.Shrigonda, Dist.Ahilyanagar and shall report his whereabouts to the Investigating Officer.
b) He shall report the Investigating Officer on every Monday between 12 to 5 p.m.
