Mrs. Bhosale, learned APP relied upon the affidavit dated 10.12.2025 by Police Sub Inspector Shri Dhananjay Ramchandra Kulkarni, who is at all not concerned with the crime. 2.

Perused the application as well as investigation papers. The date of incident is 14.05.2025. Investigation papers before this Court is not showing much progress in the investigation. Only statements of three witnesses have been recorded so far and copy of spot panchanama attached to the investigation papers. However, during the hearing and also after reading contents of the F.I.R. it is neither case of the appellant accused nor of respondent No. 3 that they are not residing in different villages. It is very surprising to know what made the said deponent Dhananjay Kulkarni to make such a statement that the petitioner is residing outside the village. Even otherwise since the crime is registered on 14.05.2025, there is no progress in investigation and moreover there is also no efforts as regards arresting the appellant accused that too in a serious crime like this one. Hence, the concerned investigation officer shall file additional affidavit throwing light on the aforesaid aspects by next date. 3.

List the matter on 15.01.2026.
