1. Since the Applicant has deposited a part of the compensation amount, the sentence for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the NI Act imposed by the JMFC, Vasco in Criminal Case No. OA/64/2020/A by its order dated 03.05.2023 shall stands suspended on the Applicant furnishing a PR bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) to be executed before the Superintendent of Central Jail, Colvale.

2. The appeal filed before the Sessions Court, Margao bearing No. CRI No.94/2023 is rejected. The Applicant has deposited an amount of 7th May, 2025

CRMA 46 of 2025 Rs.30,000/- on 19.06.2023 in Sessions Court Margao.

3. On his release, the Applicant shall furnish the PR bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with one surety in the like amount before the JMFC, Vasco within a week of his release. Superintendent of Central Jail, Colvale to remit the PR bond executed before it to the concerned Magistrate.

4. The application stands disposed of.
