1. This is an application for suspension of sentence on conviction of the Applicant imposed by the order dated 16.01.2025 of the JMFC at Bicholim in Criminal Case No.OA/644/2021/C. The Magistrate, on conviction of the Applicant, sentenced the Applicant to undergo imprisonment till the rising of the Court and to pay compensation of Rs.2,33,000/- and in default to undergo imprisonment of 60days.

2. The appeal before the Sessions Court bearing No.61 of 2025 is dismissed, upholding the conviction, against which the present revision application has been filed. In the mean while, the sentence imposed by the Magistrate has been executed and the Applicant was 19th August, 2025

CRMA 86 of 2025 taken into custody on 18.08.2025 to serve the sentence. She seeks suspension of the sentence and states that she is ready and willing to deposit an amount of Rs.2,23,000/- before this Court within the course of the day. The Registry to accept the Demand Draft of Rs.2,23,000/-.

3. It is also submitted that the Applicant had deposited an amount of Rs.10,000/- before the Sessions Court on 09.07.2025. Consequently, the Applicant after depositing the Demand Draft referred above in the Registry of this Court would have deposited the entire compensation amount.

4. In these circumstances, the default sentence imposed on the Applicant of 60 days imprisonment, on payment of the compensation amount shall stand suspended on executing a PR bond of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) before the Superintendent of Central Jail, Colvale who shall then release the Applicant and remit the PR bond to the Registry of this Court. On execution of such PR bond the sentence shall stand suspended.

5. The Application stands disposed of.
