Heard Mr. Somnath Karpe, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Petitioner.
3. By the present proceedings, the State has challenged the order dated 08/10/2024 passed by the District Judge - 3 and Additional Sessions Judge, Panaji, in SC 302 No.10/2024. By the impugned order, the learned Judge has granted bail to the 2nd Accused on the terms and conditions more particularly mentioned in the impugned order. Mr. Karpe submitted that the trial court has wrongly granted bail to the accused. 4.
Perused the record and the impugned order. I do not find any 16th April, 2026
9 WPCR 91 2026 perversity in the impugned order. The Impugned order is passed in accordance with the well established principles of law. The learned Judge has also considered the factual aspect of the matter. 5.
Further, I have been informed that the trial is in progress and the Accused has been on bail since 08/10/2024.

In view thereof, and in view of the fact that the trial is in progress, nothing survives in the present petition.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed. No order as to cost. AMIT S. JAMSANDEKAR, J.
