The Ground A in the Petition mentioned that the Petitioners and the Respondent No.2 have resolved their differences and that the Respondent No.2 has settled the matter amicably with the Petitioners that the Respondent No.2 did not MANUSHREE NESARIKAR desire to pursue the case which is the subject matter of the MANUSHREE NESARIKAR Date: 2025.10.17 11:50:48 +0530 Petition. Learned counsel for the Respondent No.2 invited our Nesarikar

2 / 2 34-WP-804-25.odt attention to the affidavit filed by the Respondent No.2. It is mentioned in the said affidavit that there are certain reservations expressed by the Respondent No.2 because there is no compliance of the consent terms on the part of the Petitioner No.1.

In this view of the matter it is quite clear that the Respondent No.2 does not have clear consent for quashing of the proceedings. Therefore, the Petition cannot be entertained and it is dismissed. It is made clear that in future if the parties arrive at a settlement, they can renew their prayer for quashing by consent.
