By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks permission to make arrangement for the Petitioner to sign and execute and register a Power of Attorney in favour of his wife-Pranu Deepa Amit Ranjan Thakur in the presence of the Sub-Registrar, Mumbai. The Petitioner also seeks a direction to the Sub-Registrar to register the said Power of Attorney in the jail premises, on payment of necessary charges. 2.

Learned APP has tendered a letter dated 26th February 2025. The said letter is addressed by the Petitioner to the Superintendent, Mumbai Central Prison. In the said letter, the Petitioner is seeking more time to consider giving Power of Attorney to his wife.

Considering the aforesaid, the Petition as of today does not survive.

Needless to state, that as and when the Petitioner intends to execute his Power of Attorney, it is open for him to to file a Petition, which will be considered on its own merits in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Petition is disposed of, on the aforesaid terms.
