At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to amend to implead the Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division as party Respondent No.4. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

According to the Petitioner, he has been externed from the concerned district for a period of one month. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that despite the Petitioner having filed an Appeal No.5 of 2025 before the Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division in January 2025, neither the appeal nor his Interim Application been heard.

She further states that the Petitioner is a cancer survivor and is required to enter Mumbai for his medical treatment. Learned counsel relied on the medical case papers annexed to the Petition. 4.
Considering that the Petitioner is suffering from cancer, we direct to the Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division to decide the Petitioner's Interim Application as expeditiously as possible and in any event within one week from the date of receipt of this order. Even the appeal to be decided expeditiously within four weeks from receipt of this order.

Petition is disposed off on the aforesaid terms. 6.
Matter to be listed for recording compliance of the same on 21st March 2025 on the supplementary board. 7.
