Learned counsel for the Petitioners submitted that, in this case, cognizance is already taken by the learned Magistrate. He seeks leave to amend to add a prayer for setting aside the order taking cognizance, to add the corresponding grounds in the memo and to delete the reference to Article 226 of the Constitution of India from the cause title. Considering this request, leave to amend for the above purposes is granted. Amendment to be carried out within two weeks from today. Once the cause title is corrected and the reference to Article 226 of the Constitution of India is deleted from the cause title, the office shall permit the learned counsel for the Petitioners to convert this writ petition into appropriate criminal application. After that, the matter be placed before the appropriate Single Judge Bench of this Court.

Ad-interim relief granted earlier shall continue for a period of eight weeks from today.
