By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks the following substantive relief:

"A) By appropriate Writ, direction or order in like to direct the Respondents to give benefit of State Remission of Three months to Petitioner on eve of 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, in view of G.R. dated 03-06-2017 and also Remission of 15 months on eve of 75th Year of India's Independence as per G.R. dated 13.3.2024 and or, and accordingly to its effect entry be taken in Remission Register of Petitioner forthwith and or" 2.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, states that the Petitioner has been given the benefit of the Government Gaikwad RD 1/2

11-wp-1412-2025.doc Resolution dated 13th March 2024, inasmuch as 15 months remission has been granted to the Petitioner. He further states that if the Petitioner wants to avail of the benefit of Remission of three months on the eve of 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Petitioner would have to prefer an Application. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, states that on the Petitioner making an Application, the Authorities will forward it to the appropriate Authorities, to enable them to take appropriate steps. The said Application if filed will be decided expeditiously.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the Petition.

The Petition stands disposed off.
