Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP representing the respondent/State. 2.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner contends that the impugned orders dated 3 March 2025, passed by the learned trial Court, in Regular Criminal Case No.137 of 2021, are devoid of reasoning and reflect a non-application of judicial mind.

Upon a careful perusal of the records, this Court finds merit in the aforesaid submission. The impugned orders appear to be cryptic and fail to indicate any consideration of the relevant facts or application of judicial reasoning. The learned APP also concedes this position. Consequently, these impugned orders dated 3 March 2025, are hereby quashed and set aide and the learned Magistrate is directed to reconsider the matter afresh and pass a speaking and reasoned order, on its own merits and in accordance with the law.

Insofar as the impugned order dated 18 March 2023 is concerned, the learned Counsel, upon instructions, does not press the challenge to the said order at this stage. 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. It is, however, clarified that the petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the order dated 18 March 2023, if the need so arises in the future.
