This is a Petition for directions to register F.I.R.. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the Police Officers of Marine Drive Police Station are showing bias and taking sides. Though the F.I.R. lodged by the Accused against the Petitioner's husband is registered, the Petitioner's complaint is completely ignored. We have heard the learned Counsel for the parties. We have also perused the F.I.R. lodged against the Petitioner's husband.

Learned A.P.P. on the instructions of Mr. Gawade, DCP makes a statement that the Petitioner's statement shall be recorded by a lady Police Officer attached to a different police station. She submitted that the Petitioner's statement shall be recorded by Ms. Ashwini Patil, PI attached to Cuffe Parade Police Station and depending on that statement further steps in accordance with law shall be taken. The statement is recorded and accepted.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner is satisfied by the statement made by learned A.P.P. at this stage and does not press this Petition any further.
