Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 2.

A limited prayer in this petition is to expedite the hearing of the Trial in CC No. 248/PW/2017.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is 70 years of age. Although the FIR was registered in the year 2016, resulting in the prosecution in CC No. 248/PW/2017, charge has yet not been framed.

In view of the aforesaid submission and the advanced age of the petitioner, the prayer for expedited hearing of the CC No. 248/PW/2017 appears justifiable.

The learned Magistrate seized with CC No. 248/PW/2017 is requested to make an endeavor to pass an order on framing of SAINATH, PA 1/2

4 WP 1674-25.DOC charge on 20th March 2026 and, in the event the charge is framed, commence and conclude at the trial as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of one year from 20th March, 2026.
