By this Petition, the Petitioner essentially seeks a direction to the Respondents to register an FIR on the basis of the Petitioner's complaint dated 2nd May 2024.

Learned APP, on instructions, states that the police have recorded the statement of the girl concerned and her mother, since the Petitioner's uncle has alleged that the girl (his niece) is a victim of sexual assault.

Learned APP has tendered the statement of the girl dated 4th April 2025. In the said statement, the girl has stated that she is in a Shivgan 1/2

909-wp-1694-2025.doc relationship with Mr. Angad Wakhare. She has further stated that her parents and his parents have agreed to get them married on her attaining the age of majority. Similar is the statement of the girl's mother. Learned APP states that the police will be closing the case within one week in view of the statements recorded by the police. 4.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the Petition.

Petition stands disposed off.
