Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By this petition, the Petitioner seeks quashing of the letter dated 16th January 2025 by which the Respondent No.2-Senior Police Inspector EOW, Mumbai closed the investigation into the Petitioner's complaint dated 14th May 2024. The said letter is at Page 142 of the Petition. It appears from the said letter that the Petitioner's complaint was closed as no cognizable offence was made out. 3.

Considering the decision taken by the Respondent No.2, 1/3

nothing survives for further consideration in the Petition. Petition stands disposed off.

Needless to state, that it is now open for the Petitioner to file appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum/Court in accordance with law.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the Petitioner's complaint as well as the allegations made in the Petition on merits nor have we gone into the reasons of the Respondent No.2 for arriving at the said decision and as such keep all contentions of all the parties open.

At this stage, when the aforesaid order was passed, learned counsel for the respective parties, on instructions, state that the parties are ready to go in for mediation, having regard to the relations between the parties.

Accordingly, we appoint Hon'ble Smt Justice Sadhana S. Jadhav (Retired) as a Mediator.

The parties to appear before the Mediator on 15th April at 2/3

05.00p.m., after which date, the Mediator will fix the schedule of dates, as per her convenience. The parties, through their respective counsel assure to extend full co-operation during the mediation. 9.

The costs of mediation to be borne by both the parties. 10.

The Mediator to submit her report before the next date. 11.

Copy of this order be forwarded to the Co-ordinator, High Court Mediation Centre, Mumbai, for information and necessary action.

Stand over to 28th April 2025.

In the meantime, none of the parties to precipitate proceedings pending against each other, before any forum till the next date.
