Learned counsel appearing for the NCB states that a proposal has been sent for filing an SLP against the Judgment and Suresh 1/2

918-919-wp-1725 & 1726-2025.doc Order of Acquittal passed by the Bombay High Court. The said Judgment and Order was passed on 7th May 2024. 2.

Admittedly, till date only a proposal has been sent and no steps have been taken to file an SLP before the Hon'ble Apex Court. 3.

Considering the aforesaid, learned SPP appearing for the NCB to take instructions whether an SLP has been filed or not and if yes, how much time it will take, as already 11 months have lapsed, since the Judgment and Order of Acquittal was passed by this Court. 4.

The Petitioners are citizens of Colombia & Bolivia, respectively and cannot return to their respective countries despite the Acquittal without getting an exit permit from the FRRO. 5.

Stand over to 30th April 2025. To be placed on the "Supplementary Board".
