Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By this Petition, the Petitioner essentially seeks a direction to the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to take cognizance of the Petitioner's complaint dated 11th August 2023 made to the Senior Police Inspector, EOW, Mumbai.

Learned APP, on instructions states that, the Police after conducting a detailed preliminary enquiry have come to the 1/3
conclusion that no cognizable offence is disclosed and as such have closed the Petitioner's complaint. She states that the said decision was taken on 2nd August 2024 and that the said decision has also been communicated to the Petitioner.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that he is not aware of any such communication received by the Petitioner. 5.
In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, learned APP assures to furnish a copy of the said letter dated 2nd August 2024, communicating the decision taken by the Police to the advocate for the Petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned APP, nothing survives for further consideration in the Petition. Petition stands disposed off.

Needless to state, that it is now open for the Petitioner to adopt appropriate remedies as maybe permissible in law, before the appropriate forum/court.

Needless to also state, that we have not gone into the 2/3
merits of the Petitioner's complaint or the decision taken by the Police and as such all contentions of all the parties on merits are kept open. 9.
