The petitioner who finds himself arrayed as an accused in the First Information Report being FIR No. 0559 which was registered with Daund Police Station on 30th July 2024 seeks quashing of the said FIR qua him as being an accused at serial no. 11. 2.

The petitioner was not summoned by the Investigating Officer for recording his statement and he has been granted privilege of the anticipatory bail by an order dated 16th August 2024 passed by ad-hoc District Judge, Baramati in Criminal Bail Application No.828 of 2024.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that the matter is still under investigation and the final form/report is yet to be filed.

In the aforesaid background of facts, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court if need so arises.

Writ Petition No. 1840 of 2025 is disposed of without reflecting on the grounds urged in this petition and the merits of the matter, with liberty to the petitioner to avail of remedy as JAYANT VISHWANATH SALUNKE available to him in law.
