Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By this petition, the petitioner essentially seeks a direction to the respondent-police to register an FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 12th February 2025. SQ Pathan 1/2
909-WP-1982-2025.doc Learned A.P.P, on instructions, states that the police, after conducting a preliminary inquiry, have come to the conclusion that a cognizable offence is not disclosed and as such, have closed the petitioner's complaint and communicated the said decision to the petitioner on 15th March 2025. In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned A.P.P, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition. Petition stands disposed of.
Needless to state that it is now open for the petitioner to adopt appropriate remedy as permissible in law, before the appropriate forum/Court.
