By this petition, the petitioner essentially seeks a direction to the learned Special Judge seized of the MPID Special Case No.9 of 2016, to decide the application/s made for attachment of the property seized, absolute. It appears that the said application/s filed by the parties are pending since 2018. It is not in dispute that notification attaching the property was issued way back in 2018. N. S. Chitnis 1/2

Without going into the merits, we deem it appropriate in the peculiar facts of the case to direct the learned Special Judge seized of the MPID Special Case No.9 of 2016 to decide the application/s seeking attachment of the property, as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 3.

Petition is accordingly disposed of on the aforesaid terms. 4.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petition and as such all contentions of all parties are kept open. DR. NEELA GOKHALE, J.
