By this petition, the petitioner seeks the following substantive reliefs :

"A] By Appropriate Writ, direction or order in like nature the petitioner be granted exemption from surrender before the Respondents on 21.04.2025 till petition is pending, and, or, B] By Appropriate Writ, direction or order in like nature to thereby direct the Respondents to extend Parole leave of petitioner for 30 days."

It appears that the petitioner had applied for parole on the premise that his wife was suffering from Uterine Fibroid and was required to undergo operation for the same. The said application was allowed b y the respondent No.2 vide order dated 10th March, 2025. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner was released from jail on 11th March, 2025 (his surrender date being 21st April, 2025). It appears that the petitioner visited the Doctor on number of dates in connection with the operation of his wife. It is the petitioner's case that his wife could not be operated because of excessive bleeding and because of low haemoglobin level and as such, surgery was postponed by three weeks. 4.

It appears that the petitioner had made an application seeking extension of parole by 30 days, which has been rejected. The petitioner, now, seeks extension of parole by another 30 days. 5.

We, having regard to the fact, do not deem it appropriate to extend the parole by another 30 days. When the petitioner's wife is fit to undergo surgery and is admitted in the hospital, it is open for the 2/3

petitioner to file an application before the concerned authority or file a petition before this Court.
